Getting dirty once more!

It seems like an eternity since Codemasters, one of Great Britain’s oldest computer and video game developers first revealed Colin McRae’s Dirt at the 2006 Electronic Entertainment Expo. And what seems like an eternity and then some is when the former World Rally Champion and much missed legendary Scotsman had his Subaru Impreza featured on the cover of his first self titled “Rally” game way back in the cold winter months of a Great British January in 1998.

The PC and PlayStation game not only spawned four sequels across various platforms but resulted in the Guinness World Records awarding the series six world records in the Guinness World Records: Gamer’s Edition of 2008.

Since then Codemasters have push the driving genre boundaries to an unparalleled excellence, Dirt, Grid and F1: 2010 they are truly race kings addicted to speed and strife, taking what was essentially the elements of Sony’s own proprietary Phyre engine they built engine technology that was once known as Neon, but is now known as Ego.
